One Month!

Well our "little" Maddux turned one month old today!!! He continues to grow by leaps and bounds - when we went to the Well Baby Clinic on Wednesday (he was 4 weeks old) he was up to 11 lbs 4 oz and 23 inches long already! So he's gaining about a pound per week and growing about an inch per week!

We are going in for some formal pictures at Sears this afternoon. We also have Maddux's baptism on Sunday this weekend - so a big weekend to look forward to!

3 Week Update

Maddux turned 3 weeks old today. I took him to the Well Baby Clinic and got him weighed and measured. He weighed in at a hefty 10 lbs 3 oz and is now 22 inches long. Over the last two weeks he has averaged almost 1 lb and 1 inch gain each week! Yikes!

4th of July Weekend

We had a good 4th of July weekend - Friday night we went to Brian and Val's for their annual party - Maddux slept through lots of fireworks that they set off in their driveway! Apparently that's how we need to get him to go to sleep? :) Saturday we went to a picnic at McDowell Dam and then Gramma Sandy and Papa Mike came over for a visit to our house....

All in all it was a good weekend but little Maddux did catch a cold - so we are trying to help him through that. Jay has been really sick as well. We're hoping all the sickness goes away soon so our summer is more enjoyable!

Chris and Val and the girls stopped by last night too for supper and to visit - the girls did a good job holding Maddux and it was fun to have them over!

Other than that, we are just busy being parents to Maddux and to the beagles - all of them keep us on our toes!!

2 week update

Well Maddux turned 2 weeks old yesterday. We went to the pediatrician and he tips the scales at 9 lbs 4 oz and is 21 inches long. His head, height and weight are all in the 90th percentile!!

He is doing well - eating well for sure! We are getting sleep in about 2-3 hour incriments...
